Our Vision
It is the vision of APIC-VA to be the leader, key
resource and advocate in the field of infection
prevention and control and applied epidemiology
for all health settings.
Our Mission
The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and
Epidemiology, Inc., Virginia Chapter (APIC-VA) is a
multi-disciplinary voluntary organization. Our purpose is to
influence, support and improve the quality of health care through
the practice and management of infection control and the
application of epidemiology in all health settings. APIC-VA is
committed to improve patient care, prevent adverse outcomes
and to minimize occupational hazard associated with the delivery
of health care.
